Within – Within
This new series emerges as a natural progression from an ongoing project titled ‘Within’. It explores boundless possibilities through the interplay and superimposition of images derived from the original series, inviting fresh interpretations and perspectives.
(Text from the ‘Within’ series: Our design studio, though modest in scale with a footprint of just 650 square feet, is a realm of endless discoveries for those who choose to look beyond the surface. Each day, this space offers a fresh perspective with fleeting shadows that dance across walls, the delicate detail of artifacts momentarily illuminated by angled rays of the sun, the intricate weave of fabric on chairs, or even the quiet poetry of dirt patterns etched into the walls.
We are guided by the belief that, as Marcel Proust once said, “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” This philosophy shapes our journey as we cultivate the art of seeing and train ourselves to notice the extraordinary within the ordinary.
It is a mindful practice of observation and a process of learning to pause and truly perceive the world around us. As John Berger aptly wrote in Ways of Seeing, “The relation between what we see and what we know is never settled.” In this uncertainty lies the beauty of discovery, where every glance becomes an opportunity to uncover hidden narratives and overlooked details.
This ongoing series, Within, embodies our commitment to this practice. It is an exploration of perception, a celebration of the quiet moments often lost in the rush of daily life, and a testament to the transformative power of simply looking. Through this work, we are learning to see differently and, in doing so, finding endless possibilities in the everyday.)
