We are thrilled to announce that LIJO.RENY.architects has won the prestigious TOSTEM Asia Design Award (TADA) for the second consecutive year, becoming the first architecture studio to achieve this extraordinary milestone. Their project, ‘The House Veiled in Brick’, was honored at a distinguished event held at the iconic Okura Hotel in Tokyo, an architectural masterpiece designed by the legendary Yoshiro Taniguchi and Yoshio Taniguchi.
The evening was not only a celebration of design excellence but also a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas. Ar. Lijo Jos and Ar. Reny Lijo had the privilege of interacting with fellow winners from across Asia and engaging in insightful discussions with several high-ranking leaders of LIXIL Corporation. A highlight of the event was a memorable conversation with the internationally acclaimed Japanese architect Akihisa Hirata, where they explored the design philosophy and vision behind their award-winning project.
This remarkable achievement not only celebrates the ingenuity of The House Veiled in Brick but also inspires us to continue striving for excellence. Recognitions like these fuel our passion for creating meaningful and innovative designs, motivating us to push boundaries and craft spaces that resonate deeply with people and their context.
